Brighton, Hove and West Sussex Deaf Childrens Society

Service

Brighton, Hove & West Sussex Deaf Society is a local group affiliated with the NDCS and is run by parents of Deaf/Hearing impaired children in their spare time.

Our aim is to provide Fun days out for our members at a very low cost or free. The type of events we offer are trips to Fishers Farm, Haven Holiday, Bluebell Railway, Picnic and Play throughout the school Holidays. Event's vary from year to year. Every year we have an Annual Christmas Party and a Summer Fun Day.

What we do:

  • We are a charity run by parents of deaf children bringing family friendship support and fun.
  • We are a group parents with D/deaf children and want to help and support other families by sharing experiences.
  • 2 of our committee members are fluent with BSL
  • We organise fun events for children of all ages and enable our deaf and hearing impaired children to make new friends and have a good time.
