JDRF is the type 1 diabetes charity – a global organisation and the world’s leading charitable funder of type 1 diabetes research. Together, we have invested £1 billion in funding critical research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes and its complications. What we do:
- We fund world-class research approved and administered by our international research programme to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes making sure research moves forward and treatments are delivered as fast as possible
- We provide information to all those living with and for those newly diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Helping them getting to grips with the condition, links to find help and support from others living with type 1, and an overview of our research programme
- We give support and a voice to people with type 1 and their families, including support packs and events
