Wizard of Oz storytelling & craft sessions

Event

What is the event?

To get home, the Witch of the North tells Dorothy to follow the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City and ask the great Wizard of Oz to help her get back to Kansas. Along the way Dorothy meets TikTok the digi-bird and, of course, the Scarecrow, Tin Man and the not-so ferocious Lion, who also wish to ask the Wizard for something.

Come and join Dorothy and her new friends as they journey over treacherous rivers, through enchanted poppy fields and even battle flying monkeys to reach the Emerald City and seek out the wonderful Wizard of Oz. However, all is not what it seems, and they will need your help to get Dorothy and Toto back home to Kansas.

With lots of Makaton signing, song and sensory moments, this retelling of the classic tale will take you on a fantastical journey from Kansas to the enchanted land of Oz, full of adventure and magic, and of course, back home again.

Storytelling and craft session lasting 60 minutes.

Families will be provided with a Resource Pack to have fun at home before or after the sessions.

COST PER SESSION: £5 per person (children and adults)
