Making Sense of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)

Event

What is the event?

This workshop, delivered by Lizzie Batten from Amaze, is aimed at parent-carers of young people (aged 15+) with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities who would like to find out about applying for Personal Independence Payment (PIP).

The session will cover the process of starting a claim, the rates at which PIP is payable and how decisions are made, strategies for making a strong claim, face to face assessments and phone consultations and what to do if the first decision is no!

There will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions during the session.

This is for parent-carers only (with children 15+ about to transfer/apply for PIP) and not for the young person to attend.
