What is the event?
Free Zoom Workshop for parent-carers of a child or young person with special educational needs and disabilities based in West Sussex.
This workshop will be delivered by Different Planet Arts who are a Sensory Theatre and Inclusive Play organisation for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
This interactive workshop will explore multisensory storytelling that is easy for all the family to take part in together. It will include ideas and suggestions on how to bring your favourite stories and songs to life through sensory inputs that engage our senses of touch, hearing, taste, smell, sight and movement aiding in communication and creating opportunities for creative engagement.
This workshop is designed to take the needs of your child/young person into account. You will have the opportunity to share experiences, experiment with simple story structures, reflect and have fun. ple with special educational needs and disabilities.

After booking - Once you have booked a place you will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite. Prior to the workshop you will receive a code to access the session. You will need to download Zoom in advance but you don’t need to set up an account if you don’t wish to. Zoom can be used on PC’s/Laptops and mobile devices such as iPad, phones and tablets. If you have any questions, please get in touch and we will happily talk you through setting this up if required.
