Behaviour Support Network Meeting

What is the event?

The next Behaviour Support Network meeting is on Wednesday 11th December, 10am-12pm at Billingshurst Community Centre. This session will focus on how carers/support staff can work towards reducing restrictive practices (which might include medication, physical restraints and mechanical restraints eg harnesses) and we are really excited to have a presentation from staff at The Selden Centre (Adult Learning Disability Inpatient provision) around the work they have done in this area.

We will also be planning the topics for next year’s 4 meetings. We would welcome your attendance, please email shona.daynes@sussexpartnership.nhs.uk to arrange a place. You can also email this address to share any ideas/requests for topics for next year if you are unable to attend in December.
