Have Your Say about Short Breaks

Event

What is the event?

This is part of a week of events for families to have your say about short breaks services, and help us to plan activities and provision for the future. Pop in for a chat with the WSCC SEND Commissioning Team at this informal and interactive workshop. You will be asked to share your views on what is working well, and anything that could be better about short breaks. You can also chat with other families, and pick up some useful leaflets and information about what’s out there for children and young people with SEND in West Sussex. This event is for parent carers of children and young people with SEND aged up to 25. You are welcome to bring your child/young person with you. The workshop is repeated around the county throughout the week, so please come along to the date and time that works best for your family. Please see our other calendar dates for details. If you can't make it to an event but would like to have your say by phone, please make an appointment for a call back, using the contact details on this page. Alternatively you can take part in our online survey on the Have Your Say Hub https://haveyoursay.westsussex.gov.uk/ Children and young people may particularly wish to join us at our evening session on Monday 2nd, where our Participation Lead will run a parallel young people’s workshop. We do ask that parent carers please stay with their children/young people. It is not possible to drop-off your child at these events as, we cannot guarantee sufficient staff to support them; due to the drop-in nature of the events we may have varying numbers of attendees.
On street parking. If you have any queries please contact the SEND Commissioning Team SENDCommissioningTeam@westsussex.gov.uk
